Photographs on these pages
feature Progressive Rock, Art Rock or Classical Rock bands and
artists of the seventies. They include Emerson Lake and
Palmer, Genesis (with Peter Gabriel), Kansas, Jethro Tull, Yes, and
a few solo artists as well, such as Kenny Loggins and Dave
Mason. In the 70s, when there were no restrictions on
photographing concerts, I routinely carried my camera into the shows of
my favorite bands. These bands were at the peak of their
popularity at the time, and I captured a few "noteworthy" concerts, such
as Genesis' "The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway" tour, which featured Peter
Gabriel on lead vocal, prior to his leaving Genesis for a solo career.
